Echoes of Fragmented Memory

Series of site-specific projected installations. November 2023.

Echoes of Fragmented Memory is a photo series that explores memory, place, and self through the projection of analogue photographs onto new environments. The original film images (taken between 2021 and 2022), capture intimate moments with friends from my life in Chicago. By projecting them into unfamiliar settings, I reflect on my relocation to Glasgow and the disorientation of starting over in a place where I knew no one. These images echo the presence of my friends and my former self, offering a fragmented portrait of identity shaped by time, distance, and change.
